Biography
Actress Janet-Laine Green was known for her roles on the silver screen. Green worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "Bullies" (1986), "Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation" with Maxine Miller (1986) and "Love" (1982) starring Gordon Thomson. She also contributed to "The Believers" (1987), "The Care Bears Movie" (1985) starring Mickey Rooney and "The Kidnapping of Baby John Doe" (1988). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Diamond Fleece" (USA, 1991-92). She also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Secret Service" (NBC, 1992-93). Her career progressed to film, including a role in "The Circle Game" (1994). In her more recent career, she tackled roles on "Mutant X" (2001-05) and "Haven" (Syfy, 2009-2015). She also was featured in the TV movie "My Father's Shadow: The Sam Sheppard Story" (CBS, 1998-99). She also appeared in the thriller "Striking Poses" (1999) with Shannen Doherty. Green's distinctive voice can be heard on "Mythic Warriors: Guardians of the Legend" (CBS, 1998-2000). Most recently, Green appeared in "Hello, It's Me" (Hallmark Channel, 2015-).
