Biography
Octavio Gomez was an accomplished actor who led an impressive career, primarily on the big screen. Gomez's early acting career consisted of parts on a wide variety of programs such as "Law & Order" (1990-2010), "The Beat" (UPN, 1999-2000) and "Third Watch" (NBC, 1999-2005). He also appeared in "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (2001-2011) and "Carnivàle" (HBO, 2003-05). Following that project, he worked on "Crash" (2005) with Sandra Bullock, "Choking Man" (2007) and the dramatic adaptation "Che: Part One" (2008) with Benicio Del Toro. He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "The Unit" (CBS, 2005-09). Gomez's more recent roles included the dramatic adaptation "Che: Part Two" (2008) with Benicio Del Toro, "Harrison Montgomery" (2009) and the Uma Thurman romantic comedy "The Accidental Husband" (2009). He also worked in television during these years, including roles in "NYC 22" (CBS, 2011-12) and "The Fosters" (Freeform, 2012-). Most recently, Gomez acted in the Sandra Bullock dramatic adaptation "Our Brand Is Crisis" (2015).
