Actress Sarah Barrable-Tishauer made her first acting appearance as a teenager on the popular television series "Degrassi: The Next Generation" in 2001. Tishauer played Liberty Van Zandt, a brainy and extremely ambitious student at Degrassi Community School, and acted in 161 episodes of the show throughout the 2000s. In 2002, she played in the television movie "The Red Sneakers," a story about a young kid who gets a pair of magical sneakers that make him a star on the basketball court. The film co-starred Gregory Hines and Vincent D'Onofrio. In addition to her duties on the main "Degrassi" show, Tishauer has also appeared in several television movies as Liberty Van Zandt, including "Degrassi Spring Break Movie" in 2008, where her character takes a much-needed vacation, and "Degrassi Takes Manhattan" in 2010, where Liberty and her friends descend on the Big Apple.
