Biography
Roy Edmonds was widely known for his acting on the big screen. At the beginning of his acting career, Edmonds was featured in dramas like "Kangaroo" (1987) with Colin Friels and "Ghosts of the Civil Dead" (1989) starring Dave Field. He also appeared in the TV movie "The Blue Lightning" (CBS, 1985-86). He continued to act in productions like the Ben Mendelsohn comedy "The Big Steal" (1990), the dramedy "Proof" (1992) with Hugo Weaving and the action film "Sniper" (1993) with Tom Berenger. Edmonds had a number of different projects under his belt in the nineties and the early 2000s, including "The Ripper" (Starz, 1997-98), "Darkness Falls" with Chaney Kley (2003) and "The Hard Word" (2003). His credits also expanded to "Ned Kelly" with Heath Ledger (2004). Edmonds most recently worked on the family adventure "Charlotte's Web" (2006) with Dakota Fanning.
