Biography
Noel Drayton was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Drayton appeared in such films as "Under My Skin" (1950), the action film "Blackbeard the Pirate" (1952) with Robert Newton and the historical feature "Plymouth Adventure" (1952) with Spencer Tracy. He also appeared in the James Mason adventure "Botany Bay" (1953). He continued to act in productions like the Elizabeth Taylor dramatic adaptation "Elephant Walk" (1954), the musical comedy "Knock on Wood" (1954) with Danny Kaye and "The Seven Little Foys" (1955). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "The Virgin Queen" (1955) with Bette Davis, the Danny Kaye comedy adventure "The Court Jester" (1956) and the Dana Andrews drama "Zero Hour!" (1957). Drayton more recently acted in the action picture "The Wrecking Crew" (1968) with Dean Martin. Drayton passed away in December 1981 at the age of 68.
