Biography
A former reporter for the LOS ANGELES TIMES and NEWSWEEK, Mark Gill moved into film publicity at Columbia/TriStar Pictures. He handled the promotion for "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" and the controversy sparked by the violence surrounding the opening of "Boyz N the Hood" (both 1991) and was promoted to senior vice president for publicity and field operations. He later joined Miramax as president of marketing.
