Biography
Dawn McMillan was an accomplished actress, noted for her comedic timing in her roles for television shows. Early on in her acting career, McMillan spent time on a variety of series with roles in "Step by Step" (1991-98), "Hangin' With Mr. Cooper" (ABC, 1992-97) and "Living Single" (Fox, 1992-98). She also appeared in "Frasier" (NBC, 1993-2004) and "ER" (NBC, 1994-2009). McMillan also lent her voice to various characters in "Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego?" (Fox, 1993-98). She continued to work steadily in sitcoms throughout the nineties, appearing on "In the House" (UPN, 1994-97), "The Parent 'Hood" (WB, 1994-99) and "The Wayans Bros." (WB, 1994-96). She also appeared in "Malcolm and Eddie" (UPN, 1995-2000), "Moesha" (UPN, 1995-2001) and "The Steve Harvey Show" (WB, 1995-2002). In her more recent career, she tackled roles on "Homeboys in Outer Space" (1996-97), "Smart Guy" (1996-99) and "Damon" (Fox, 1997-98). McMillan focused on film in more recent years, appearing in "Zeus and Roxanne" (1997) with Steve Guttenberg and the dramatic adaptation "Shiloh 2: Shiloh Season" (1999) with Zachary Browne. McMillan most recently acted in the John Travolta comedy "Lucky Numbers" (2000).
