Biography

An offspring of the famous Lively family, the actor Eric Lively made is screen debut as an infant in the 1983 sci-fi thriller "Brainstorm." After guesting on the pop-culture gem "Full House" over a decade later, Lively received a crash course in screen performance alongside his siblings, Blake and Lori, in the musical fantasy film "Sandman," which was directed by his father. A small role as a nervous choir boy in the influential teen sex romp "American Pie" landed Lively a regular spot on the spooky mystery series "So Weird." In 2003, the actor graduated to more adult fare with a co-starring role on the Norm MacDonald sitcom "A Minute with Stan Hooper." When given a choice as to which series he would next have a recurring role in, Lively opted for the lesbian drama "The L Word" over the action series "24," citing the latter show's subject matter as more important (although he would appear in the sensational TV movie "24: Redemption"). While Lively's headlining stint on the relationship comedy series "Modern Men" was short lived, he quickly thereafter scored his first starring role in a film with the time-traveling shocker "The Butterfly Effect 2."
