Ted Donaldson can trace his acting career back to when he was 11 years old. Donaldson began his acting career appearing in various films, such as "Mr. Winkle Goes to War" (1944), "Once Upon a Time" (1944) and "A Guy, a Gal and a Pal" (1945). He also appeared in "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" (1945) with Dorothy McGuire. He kept working in film throughout the forties, starring in "Adventures of Rusty" (1945), "My Dog Rusty" (1948) and "Rusty Leads the Way" (1948). During the latter part of his career, he tackled roles in "Rusty Saves a Life" (1949), "Rusty's Birthday" (1949) and "The Green Promise" (1949). Donaldson more recently acted in the Shelley Winters drama "Phone Call From a Stranger" (1952).
