Later, Dempsey acted in the comedy "Off Limits" (1953) with Bob Hope, "D*mn Citizen!" (1958) and the dramatic adaptation "Requiem For a Heavyweight" (1962) with Anthony Quinn. Dempsey was most recently credited in "Workaholics" (Comedy Central, 2010-17). Dempsey was married to Estelle Taylor. Dempsey passed away in May 1983 at the age of 88.
