Lawrence Criner was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Criner found his beginnings in film with roles in "Black Moon" (1934) and "The Duke Is Tops" (1938) with Ralph Cooper Sr.. Criner began to focus on film after appearing in "King of the Zombies" (1941) and "The Gang's All Here" (1941). Later in his career, Criner acted in the Sheila Guyse drama "Miracle in Harlem" (1947). Criner passed away in March 1965 at the age of 67.
