He also was featured in the miniseries "The Manions of America" (1981-82). He also appeared in the TV movie "A Tale of Two Cities" (CBS, 1980-81). He continued to act in productions like "The Chain" (1985) with Herbert Norville, "Brazil" (1985) and the comedy "Old Flames" (1989) with Stephen Fry. He held additional roles in television including a part on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-). He also was featured in the TV movie "Crucifer of Blood" (TNT, 1991-92). Most recently, Coyle acted on "Rescue Me" (FX, 2003-2011).
