Robert Coleby was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Coleby landed roles in various films, including the George C Scott action movie "The Last Run" (1971), "The Plumber" (1979) and "Now and Forever" (1982). He also appeared in "For the Term of His Natural Life" (1985), the drama "Great Expectations - The Untold Story" (1987) with John Stanton and "Sebastian and the Sparrow" (1988). In the nineties, Coleby devoted his time to various credits, such as "Frauds" (1993), "Country Life" (1995) and "The Phantom" (1996) starring Billy Zane. He also worked on "The Real Macaw" (1998). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Steve Irwin action flick "The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course" (2002), "Walk the Talk" (2003) with Salvatore Coco and "The Marine" (2006) with John Cena. He also appeared in the Ed Harris dramatic adaptation "Appaloosa" (2008). Coleby most recently acted in the Mia Wasikowska dramatic adaptation "Tracks" (2014).
