Biography
Ellis E Williams was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. E Williams started his acting career landing roles in such films as "The Brother From Another Planet" (1984) with Joe Morton, "Eddie Murphy Raw" (1987) and "Second Sight" (1989). He also appeared in the Doug E Doug dramatic comedy "Hangin' With the Homeboys" (1991). E Williams also contributed music to the Rae Dawn Chong musical "Beat Street" (1984). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the comedy "The D.R.O.P. Squad" (1994) with Eriq La Salle, the Brent Fraser action picture "The Little Death" (1995) and the dramatic adaptation "Eye for An Eye" (1996) with Sally Field. He also appeared in the action flick "The Glimmer Man" (1996) with Steven Seagal. More recently, he tackled roles in "Chasing Destiny" (2001), "Ali" (2001) with Will Smith and "Antwone Fisher" (2002) with Derek Luke. E Williams also contributed music to the drama "Save the Last Dance" (2001) with Julia Stiles. Most recently, E Williams acted in the Jeanne Tripplehorn dramatic adaptation "Morning" (2013).
