Biography

Actor Phil Reeves was widely known for his presence on the silver screen. Reeves kickstarted his acting career appearing on various dramas, including "L.A. Law" (NBC, 1986-1994), "Life Goes On" (ABC, 1989-1993) and "Sisters" (1990-96). He also appeared in "The Commish" (1991-95). He also appeared in the TV movie "The Goddess of Love" (NBC, 1988-89). During the early stages of his acting career, Reeves worked in films like the Jason Priestley drama "Calendar Girl" (1993). He next focused his entertainment career on film, appearing in the action movie "Lansky" (1999) with Richard Dreyfuss, the Matthew Broderick comedy adaptation "Election" (1999) and "Pumpkin" (2002) with Christina Ricci. In the early 2000s, he then appeared in "Sideways" (2004) with Paul Giamatti, "Guess Who" (2005) with Bernie Mac and the Jim Carrey box office smash crime adaptation "Fun With Dick and Jane" (2005). He also appeared in the Dwayne Johnson dramatic adaptation "Gridiron Gang" (2006) and the Will Ferrell smash hit sports comedy "Blades of Glory" (2007).
