Biography
Austin Majors was an actor most commonly known for his memorable roles in television. His acting career in television began with credits on "NYPD Blue" (1993-2005), "ER" (NBC, 1994-2009) and "Providence" (NBC, 1998-2003). He also appeared in "According to Jim" (ABC, 2001-09). In the early 2000s, Majors devoted his time to various credits, such as "Treasure Planet" (2002), "NCIS" (CBS, 2003-) and "American Dad" (2004-). He also worked on "Desperate Housewives" (ABC, 2004-2012). In his more recent career, he tackled roles on "How I Met Your Mother" (CBS, 2005-2014) and "Threshold" (CBS, 2005-06). He also was featured in the TV movie "An Accidental Christmas" (Lifetime, 2007-08). Majors most recently worked on the dramatic period piece "An American Affair" (2009) with Gretchen Mol.
