Biography

Actor Linden Chiles appeared on the big screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Chiles began his acting career with roles in such films as the Lee Remick dramatic adaptation "Sanctuary" (1961), "A Rage to Live" (1965) with Suzanne Pleshette and the Dean Martin western "Texas Across the River" (1966). He also appeared in the Charlton Heston dramatic adaptation "Counterpoint" (1967) and "Sullivan's Empire" (1967) with Martin Milner. His film career continued throughout the seventies and the eighties in productions like "Where the Buffalo Roam" (1980) with Peter Boyle, the horror feature "Forbidden World" (1982) with Dawn Dunlap and "Cloak and Dagger" (1984). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Who Is the Black Dahlia?" (NBC, 1974-75). He also had a part in the TV miniseries "Judith Krantz's Till We Meet Again" (1989-1990). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Beverly Hills 90210" (Fox, 1990-2000). Chiles most recently acted in the adventurous drama "Fly Away Home" (1996) with Jeff Daniels.
