Mark Carlton was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He had a part on the television special "London and Davis in New York" (CBS, 1984-85). He also starred in the TV movies "Grace Kelly" (1982-83), "My Wicked, Wicked Ways... The Legend of Errol Flynn" (CBS, 1984-85) and "J. Edgar Hoover" (Showtime, 1986-87). He also worked in film during these years, including roles in the drama "Go Tell the Spartans" (1978) with Burt Lancaster and the Dan Aykroyd action picture "1941" (1979). Following that project, he acted on the silver screen, including roles in the Peter Weller action film "Robocop" (1987), the crime picture "Heathers" (1989) with Winona Ryder and the action flick "Navy Seals" (1990) with Charlie Sheen. He also starred in the TV movies "Ladykillers" (ABC, 1988-89) and "Prime Target" (NBC, 1989-1990). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Roseanne" (ABC, 1988-1997). In the nineties, he then appeared in the Arnold Schwarzenegger smash hit action movie "Total Recall" (1990), "Bad Girls" (1994) with Madeleine Stowe and "Angel's Dance" (1999). He also was featured in the TV movies "Behind Enemy Lines" (HBO, 1996) and "The Tiger Woods Story" (Showtime, 1997-98). Carlton most recently worked on the Kevin Kline animated adventure "The Road to El Dorado" (2000).
