Biography
Jim Wise built quite a career for himself as a vibrant source of comedy, starring in many films throughout his Hollywood career. At the start of his acting career, Wise appeared on television comedies like "Family Matters" (CBS, 1989-1998) and "In Living Color" (Fox, 1989-1994). He also landed a few movie roles at the time, appearing in "Body Waves" (1992) with Bill Calvert and the Elizabeth Berkley drama "Showgirls" (1995). He then appeared in the Toni Collette comedy "Clockwatchers" (1998), the Will Ferrell comedy "A Night At the Roxbury" (1998) and "Not Another Teen Movie" (2001) with Chyler Leigh. He also appeared in "Love Liza" (2002). In the early 2000s and the 2010s, Wise lent his talents to projects like "American Dad" "Danny Roane: First Time Director" (2006) and the Will Ferrell and David Koechner box office smash "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" (2006). His credits also expanded to the Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg hit "Hotel Transylvania" (2012)Wise most recently voiced characters in the Adam Sandler hit comedy sequel "Hotel Transylvania 2" (2015). Wise was nominated for an Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics Primetime Emmy Award for "Mad TV" in 2007 as well as for an Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics Primetime Emmy Award for "Mad TV" in 2008. Wise won an Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics Primetime Emmy Award for "Mad TV" in 2006.
