Biography
Robert Winkler was an accomplished actor who led an impressive career, primarily on the big screen. Winkler's career in acting began with his roles in various films like "Daredevils of the Red Circle" (1939), "Bad Men of Missouri" (1941) and "Pals of the Pecos" (1941) with Robert Livingston. He also appeared in "Sullivan's Travels" (1942). He continued to act in productions like the Betty Hutton biopic "Incendiary Blonde" (1945) and the Burt Lancaster crime flick "Criss Cross" (1949). Winkler had a number of different projects under his belt in the nineties through the 2010s, including "Hitler's Daughter" (USA, 1990-91), "Gray Matter" (Cinemax, 2004-05) and "In Search of Memory" (2010). Winkler also produced "Echte Wiener."
