Biography
Throughout his entertainment career as an accomplished actor, Newell Alexander graced the silver screen many times. Alexander kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "Flash and the Firecat" (1975), the Joan Collins drama "Homework" (1982) and the drama "Little Nikita" (1988) with Sidney Poitier. He also appeared in "Miles From Home" (1988). In the nineties, Alexander devoted his time to various credits, such as "Homeward Bound: the Incredible Journey" (1993) starring Don Alder, "Son-In-Law" (1993) and "Iron Will" (1994). He also worked on "Pontiac Moon" (1994) starring Ted Danson. Alexander had a number of different projects under his belt in the early 2000s, including "Arrested Development" (2003-), "Kill Bill Vol. 1" (2003) starring Uma Thurman and the Will Smith and Robert De Niro box office smash "Shark Tale" (2004). His credits also expanded to the Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy smash hit "Shrek 2" (2004) and the Andy Richter and Ben Stiller hit "Madagascar" (2005)Alexander most recently voiced characters in the Diego Luna animated adventure "The Book of Life" (2014).
