Biography
Dennis Waterman began his entertainment career as a 13-year-old child actor. Early on in his acting career, Waterman landed roles in various films, including "The Pirates of Blood River" (1961), "Up the Junction" (1967) and "The Smashing Bird I Used to Know" (1969). He also appeared in "The Scars of Dracula" (1970), the dramatic adaptation "My Lover, My Son" (1970) with Romy Schneider and "Fright" (1971). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the Richard Harris drama "Man in the Wilderness" (1971), the Eric Porter drama "The Belstone Fox" (1973) and "Sweeney" (1976). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Cold Justice" (1991) and "Vol-Au-Vent" (1996). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Murder in Mind" (BBC, 2000-03). Additionally, he appeared on the television special "The Life and Loves of a She-Devil" (1986-87). Most recently, Waterman acted in the adventure for the whole family "Back in Business" (2007) with Martin Kemp.
