Biography

Kim Walker's acting career began when she was a mere 17 years old. She had an early role on the television special "Boxes: With the Sydney Dance Company" (PBS, 1985-86). Walker worked in television around the start of her acting career with a role on "The Outsiders" (Fox, 1989-1990). She additionally landed roles in the TV movies "Student Exchange" (ABC, 1987-88) and "The Preppie Murder" (ABC, 1989-1990). She also appeared in the TV special "The Julie Show" (NBC, 1990-91). In the nineties, Walker worked on predominantly television shows such as "Picket Fences" (CBS, 1992-96) and "The Edge" (Fox, 1992-93). Later, she earned a role in the Bill Pullman comedy "Nervous Ticks" (1993). Walker took on film roles in more recent years, appearing in "The Favor" (1994) with Harley Jane Kozak and the drama "A Reason to Believe" (1995) with Allison Smith. She also had a part in the TV miniseries "The Gambler V: Playing For Keeps" (1994-95). She held additional roles in television including a part on "The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr." (Fox, 1993-94). Walker last acted in "Somewhere in the City" (1998) with Sandra Bernhard. Walker passed away in March 2001 at the age of 33.
