Vivian's career beginnings included film roles in the romance "A Letter For Evie" (1946) with Marsha Hunt and the dramatic period piece "Kitty" (1946) with Paulette Goddard. Vivian made film his next project, appearing in the David Niven comedy "A Kiss in the Dark" (1949), "Prince Valiant" (1954) and "Daddy Long Legs" (1955). He also appeared in "Prince of Players" (1955) with Richard Burton. Later in his career, Vivian acted in the James Stewart biopic "The Spirit of St. Louis" (1957). Vivian passed away in January 1961 at the age of 71.
