Biography
John Valentine was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In the early stages of his acting career, Valentine was featured in films like "Delinquent Daughters" (1944) with June Carlson and Fifi D'Orsay. He had an early role on the television special "Concealed Enemies" (PBS, 1983-84). He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Cheers" (NBC, 1982-1993). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Father & Son: Dangerous Relations" (NBC, 1992-93). In the eighties and the nineties, he worked on the television shows "Wings" (1989-1997) and "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" (CBS, 1992-98). Later, he earned a role in the dramatic adaptation "A Soldier's Story" (1984) with Howard E Rollins Jr.. He also was featured in the TV movie "Cagney & Lacey: The Return" (CBS, 1994-95). Most recently, Valentine acted on "Hawaii Five-O" (CBS, 2010-).
