Biography
Ferike Boros was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. In her early acting career, Boros appeared in such films as "Born Reckless" (1930), "Ladies Love Brutes" (1930) with George Bancroft and "Gentleman's Fate" (1931). She also appeared in the Ramon Novarro dramatic sports film "Huddle" (1932), "The World and the Flesh" (1932) and "Rafter Romance" (1933). Her film career continued throughout the thirties in productions like the comedy "Fifth Avenue Girl" (1939) with Ginger Rogers, the drama "The Light That Failed" (1939) with Ronald Colman and the John Garfield drama "Dust Be My Destiny" (1939). She also appeared in the drama "Stronger Than Desire" (1939) with Virginia Bruce. Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in "Caught in the Draft" (1941), the Monty Woolley dramedy "The Pied Piper" (1942) and the dramatic adventure "Once Upon a Honeymoon" (1942) with Ginger Rogers. She also appeared in the comedy "Princess O'Rourke" (1943) with Olivia de Havilland and the Joan Bennett crime adaptation "Margin For Error" (1943). Boros more recently acted in "Specter of the Rose" (1946). Boros passed away in January 1951 at the age of 71.
