Biography
Actress Charlene Tilton was born December 1, 1958, in San Diego. Best known for her portrayal of resident vixen Lucy Ewing on the primetime soap "Dallas" in the 1970s and '80s, Tilton got her start with bit parts on the big screen and frequent guest-starring spots, including "Happy Days" and "Eight is Enough." It was "Dallas" that garnered her the most attention, however, and the role of Lucy Ewing would shape her career. She is also a trained singer, and did her own vocal work in several episodes of the hit show. Following the series' end in 1990, Tilton has steadily booked several made-for-television movies and straight-to-video titles. In 2006, along with her "Dallas" costars, Tilton accepted the TV Land award for Pop Culture; the show was honored for its impact on the television landscape. In 2008, she appeared in the superhero spoof "Superhero Movie," playing actress Sara Paxton's mother. She has one daughter, budding young actress Cherish Lee, from her marriage to country singer Johnny Lee.
