She worked in series television while getting her start in acting, including a part on "Designing Women" (CBS, 1986-1993). She also starred in the TV movies "The Richest Cat in the World" (ABC, 1985-86) and "Dance 'Til Dawn" (NBC, 1988-89). She continued to work steadily in television throughout the nineties, appearing on "High Incident" (1995-97), "Relativity" (ABC, 1996-97) and "Social Studies" (UPN, 1996-97). Recently, she tackled roles on "Monk" (2001-09), "For the People" (Lifetime, 2002-03) and "Without A Trace" (CBS, 2002-09). She also appeared in "Joan of Arcadia" (CBS, 2003-05) and "South of Nowhere" (TeenNick, 2005-07). Swink most recently acted on "Law & Order: LA" (NBC, 2010-11).
