Biography
Caroline Sihol was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in her acting career, Sihol landed roles in various films, including "Un Amour de sable" (1977), "La Vie est un roman" (1983) with Vittorio Gassman and the Jean-Paul Belmondo crime picture "Les Morfalous" (1983). She also appeared in the Fanny Ardant comedy "Confidentially Yours" (1984), the Gérard Depardieu comedy "Menage" (1986) and "Contrainte par corps" (1988). Her passion for acting continued to her roles in projects like "Faux et usage de faux" (1990) with Philippe Noiret, the dramatic adaptation "The Other Woman" (1990) with Anny Duperey and "Tous les matins du monde" (1992) with Jean-Pierre Marielle. She also appeared in "East Wind" (1993), the drama "La Prediction" (1994) with Oleg Bassilashvili and "The Light of a Dying Star" (1994). More recently, she continued to act in "L' Amour Conjugal" (1995), the Pierre Richard comedy "Droit dans le mur" (1997) and the drama "Rembrandt" (1999) with Klaus Maria Brandauer. She also appeared in "La Moitie du ciel" (2001), "La Vie En Rose" (2007) and "A Girl Cut in Two" (2008). Sihol most recently acted in the Sabine Azema dramatic adaptation "Aimer, boire et chanter" (2014).
