Blomfield began to focus on film after appearing in "Hobson's Choice" (1954) and "Reach For the Sky" (1956) with Kenneth More. Later in his career, Blomfield acted in "Carry On, Admiral" (1957). Blomfield passed away in July 1964 at the age of 44.
