Erik Satie, a talented musician, produced music for many Hollywood productions. Satie began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like the Maurice Ronet dramatic adaptation "The Fire Within" (1963), the dramatic adaptation "Une Histoire Immortelle" (1968) with Orson Welles and "Le Rouge de Chine" (1978). His music also appeared in the Gosta Ekman comedy "Picassos Aventyr" (1978). In the eighties, Satie devoted his time to various credits, such as "Die Schwaermer" (1984), "Miss Mary" (1986) and "Positive I.D." with John Davies (1987). He also worked on "The Love Child" (1988). Satie's music was also featured in "The Royal Tenenbaums" (2001), "About Schmidt" (2002) with Jack Nicholson and "David Hockney: The Colors of Music" (2005) with Chantal Bernheim. His music was also featured in the dramatic adaptation "The Painted Veil" (2006) with Naomi Watts. Satie's music was most recently featured in the drama "Mississippi Grind" (2015) with Ryan Reynolds.
