Matt Russo was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Russo began his acting career appearing mainly in films, such as the crime picture "The Seven Ups" (1973) with Roy Scheider and the horror movie "The Stepford Wives" (1975) with Katharine Ross. He also appeared in the TV movie "Mr. Inside/Mr. Outside" (NBC, 1972-73). He had an early role on the television special "Popi" (CBS, 1974-75). His film career continued throughout the seventies and the eighties in productions like "Slow Dancing in the Big City" (1978) and "Superman" (1978). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Gift" (CBS, 1979-1980). Russo had a number of different projects under his belt in the eighties through the nineties, including "The King of Comedy" (1983), "Mark Russell Comedy Special (04/01/98)" (PBS, 1997-98) and "Mark Russell Comedy Special (05/27/98)" (PBS, 1997-98). Most recently, Russo worked on "Mark Russell Comedy Special (06/16/99)" (PBS, 1998-99).
