Deep Roy was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Deep Roy began his acting career appearing in various films, such as the action picture "The Pink Panther Strikes Again" (1976) with Peter Sellers, the "Licensed to Love and Kill" (1978) film Gareth Hunt and the Christian Anders drama "Die Brut des Bosen" (1978). He also appeared in the Sam J. Jones sci-fi fantasy "Flash Gordon" (1980). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, appearing in "Rising Storm" (1989), the thriller "Disturbed" (1990) with Malcolm McDowell and the thrilling adaptation "The Resurrected" (1992) with John Terry. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Jim Carrey hit comedic fantasy "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas" (2000), the Mark Wahlberg smash hit action flick "Planet of the Apes" (2001) and the comedy adventure "The Haunted Mansion" (2003) with Eddie Murphy. He also appeared in "Big Fish" (2003). Deep Roy most recently voiced characters in "Zambezia" (2013) with Jeremy Suarez.
