Michael Ross was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Ross's career in acting began with his roles in various films like the Leo Gorcey comedy "Blonde Dynamite" (1950), the Edmond O'Brien crime feature "D.O.A." (1950) and the Richard Rober drama "The Well" (1951). He also appeared in the historical film "Golden Girl" (1951) with Mitzi Gaynor, "Against All Flags" (1952) with Errol Flynn and "Lost in Alaska" (1952) with Bud Abbott. His film career continued throughout the fifties in productions like the comedy "The Lieutenant Wore Skirts" (1956) with Tom Ewell, "The Buster Keaton Story" (1957) and "The Delicate Delinquent" (1957). He also appeared in the crime adaptation "Short Cut to Hell" (1957) with Robert Ivers. During the latter half of his career, he continued to act in the William Shatner thriller "The Kidnapping of the President" (1980), the dramatic adaptation "Only When I Laugh" (1981) with Marsha Mason and the adventure "Santa Claus: The Movie" (1985) with David Huddleston. Most recently, Ross worked on the Ben Stiller smash hit animated sequel "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted" (2012).
