Lisa Raggio was an accomplished actress, noted for her comedic timing in her roles for television shows. She also appeared in the TV movie "You Ruined My Life" (ABC, 1986-87). She also was featured in the miniseries "Baby M" (1987-88). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including parts on "Private Benjamin" (CBS, 1980-83) and "Perfect Strangers" (ABC, 1985-1993). She continued to work steadily in television throughout the eighties and the nineties, appearing on "Coach" (1988-1997), "Murphy Brown" (CBS, 1988-1998) and "NYPD Blue" (1993-2005). She also had roles in film during these years, including roles in the dramatic comedy "The Fabulous Baker Boys" (1989) with Jeff Bridges. Raggio also created music for "Kinjite" (1989). More recently, she tackled roles on "Sister, Sister" (1993-99), "ER" (NBC, 1994-2009) and "Jake in Progress" (ABC, 2004-06). She also lent her distinctive voice to "Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego?" (Fox, 1993-98) and the John Goodman smash hit animated adventure "Monsters, Inc." (2001). Raggio most recently acted in the Vincent Pagano comedy "A Wake in Providence" (2005).
