Directed Paramount Comedy Channel series "Asylum"; met frequent collaborator Simon Pegg during filming

2004

Directed and co-wrote (with Pegg) the zombie genre parody "Shaun of the Dead"; film starred Pegg and Nick Frost as two friends who, along with a few friends, are being hunted by zombies

2007

Directed the fake trailer segment "Don't" for the Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez double feature "Grindhouse"

2007

Re-teamed with Pegg for the buddy cop spoof "Hot Fuzz"; Pegg and Frost played two cops patrolling a country village outside of London with the lowest crime rate in the country

2010

Directed Michael Cera in "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World," based on Bryan Lee O'Malley's comic book series

2011

Co-wrote screenplay for "The Adventures of Tintin," directed by Steven Spielberg and produced by Peter Jackson
