Biography
John Pearce has built an incredible presence on the big screen throughout his acting career. Pearce kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "Sweet Kill" (1970) with Tab Hunter, the drama "The Student Nurses" (1970) with Elaine Giffos and "THX 1138" (1971). He also appeared in the Cliff Robertson action flick "The Great Northfield, Minnesota Raid" (1972) and the action movie "Ulzana's Raid" (1972) with Burt Lancaster. His film career continued throughout the seventies and the eighties in productions like the western "Billy Two Hats" (1973) with Gregory Peck, the drama "The Klansman" (1974) with Lee Marvin and the Peter O'Toole drama "The Stunt Man" (1980). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Call of the Wild" (NBC, 1975-76). During the latter half of his career, he tackled roles in the drama "Little Treasure" (1985) with Margot Kidder. He also was featured in the TV movies "Desperado" (NBC, 1986-87) and "Poker Alice" (CBS, 1986-87). Pearce most recently appeared on "Inside the Animal Mind" (PBS, 1999-2000).
