She also appeared in "Donne Proibite" (1956). Her passion for acting continued to her roles in projects like "The Naked Maja" (1959), the Maximilian Schell drama "The Reluctant Saint" (1962) and the Jean Sorel dramatic adaptation "Germinal" (1963). She also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "The Empty Canvas" (1963) with Bette Davis. Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in "Un Uomo a Meta" (1966), the comedic adaptation "Candy" (1968) with Ewa Aulin and "Ciao Gulliver" (1970). She also appeared in "The King's Whore" (1990) with Timothy Dalton. Padovani more recently acted in the dramatic biopic "Montparnasse 19" (1993) with Gerard Philipe.
