Ted Oliver was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In 1925, he made his screen debut in "Daring Days." In 1927, he starred in the Western short "The Lone Ranger." In 1943, he appeared in Lambert Hillyer's "Batman." Oliver began his career with a role in the comedic adaptation "We're Not Dressing" (1934) with Bing Crosby. Oliver began to focus on film after appearing in the western "Klondike Annie" (1936) with Mae West. Later in his career, Oliver acted in the Charlie Chaplin comedy "Modern Times" (1936). Oliver passed away in June 1957 at the age of 65.
