Mary Newton was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Newton kickstarted her acting career in various films such as the thriller "The Seventh Victim" (1943) with Tom Conway, the thriller "Escape in the Fog" (1945) with Nina Foch and the mystery "Crime Doctor's Manhunt" (1946) with Warner Baxter. She also appeared in "Last Days of Boot Hill" (1947). Her film career continued throughout the forties and the fifties in productions like "Dynamite" (1949), the comedy "The Caddy" (1953) with Dean Martin and "The Wild One" (1953). She also appeared in the Ida Lupino drama "Women's Prison" (1955). Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in the Dean Martin comedy adaptation "You're Never Too Young" (1955), the Dean Martin comedy "Pardners" (1956) and the Dana Andrews drama "Zero Hour!" (1957). Newton more recently worked on "Night Owl" (1993) with James Raftery.
