She also appeared in the TV movie "Fun and Games" (ABC, 1979-1980). Nelson worked in television around the start of her acting career with a role on "Archie Bunker's Place" (CBS, 1979-1983). She also starred in the TV movies "Calamity Jane" (1983-84), "Single Bars, Single Women" (ABC, 1984-85) and "Assassin" (CBS, 1985-86). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Rockhopper" (CBS, 1984-85). Nelson focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the Dolph Lundgren sci-fi fantasy "Masters of the Universe" (1987) and the action film "Daddy's Boys" (1988) with Daryl Haney.
