British-born Janet Munro was a beloved actress, well-known for her memorable performances on the Hollywood movie screen. Munro started off her acting career mostly in film roles, appearing in the Forrest Tucker horror film "The Trollenberg Terror" (1958) and "Darby O'Gill and the Little People" (1959). She also appeared in the TV movie "Berkeley Square" (NBC, 1958-59). She continued to work steadily in film throughout the fifties and the nineties, appearing in "Third Man on the Mountain" (1959) with Michael Rennie, the action flick "The Swiss Family Robinson" (1960) with John Mills and "The Day the Earth Caught Fire" (1961). She also appeared in "Hide and Seek" (1964) and the Dirk Bogarde comedic drama "Sebastian" (1968). Munro was most recently credited in "Look Who's Talking Too" (1990) with John Travolta. Munro passed away in December 1972 at the age of 38.
