Biography
Douglass Montgomery was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Montgomery began his career with roles in "Little Women" (1933), "Little Man, What Now?" (1934) and the Gloria Swanson drama "Music in the Air" (1934). Montgomery then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in "Harmony Lane" (1935), "Mystery of Edwin Drood" (1935) and "Counsel for Crime" (1937). He also appeared in "The Cat and the Canary" (1939). Later in his career, Montgomery acted in "The Way to the Stars" (1945). Montgomery passed away in July 1966 at the age of 58.
