William Marquez was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Marquez began his acting career appearing in various films, such as the thriller "The Kidnapping of the President" (1980) with William Shatner, the drama "Seed of Innocence" (1981) with Monika Ramirez and the Chevy Chase comedy "Deal of the Century" (1983). He also appeared in the Dudley Moore comedy "Best Defense" (1984), the Henry Thomas action movie "Cloak and Dagger" (1984) and the action flick "Black Moon Rising" (1986) with Tommy Lee Jones. He continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties, appearing in the musical drama "Lambada" (1990) with J Eddie Peck, the drama "The Doctor" (1991) with William Hurt and "For the Boys" (1991) with Bette Midler. He also appeared in the Mel Gibson adventurous drama "Forever Young" (1992). In his more recent career, he tackled roles in "Dance With Me" (1998) with Vanessa Williams, "Forces of Nature" (1999) with Sandra Bullock and the dramatic adaptation "Price of Glory" (2000) with Jimmy Smits.
