Biography
Carl Marotte was a big screen film actor known for powerful performances. Marotte started his acting career landing roles in films, such as "Pick-Up Summer" (1981), "My Bloody Valentine" (1981) and "Hard Feelings" (1982). He also appeared in "Fun Park" (1985) and "Breaking All the Rules" (1985). He also appeared in the TV movie "Escape From Iran: The Canadian Caper" (CBS, 1980-81). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties, appearing in the drama "Shoemaker" (1996) with Randy Hughson, the Tod Fennell dramatic period piece "Kayla" (1998) and the Sharon Stone dramatic adaptation "The Mighty" (1998). Additionally, he appeared on the television special "Empire of the Bay" (PBS, 1999-2000). Marotte most recently acted in the Denis Bouchard sports drama "Lance et Compte" (2010).
