Biography
Masao Mishima was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Mishima's career beginnings included film roles in "The Life of Oharu" (1952) with Ichiro Sugai and the Tatsuya Nakadai drama "The Human Condition" (1959). Mishima then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in the drama sequel "The Human Condition 2" (1961) with Tatsuya Nakadai, "Harakiri" (1962) and "Rebellion" (1967) with Toshiro Mifune. Mishima was most recently credited in the drama "Buta To Gunkan" (1986) with Hiroyuki Nagato. Mishima passed away in July 1973 at the age of 67.
