Biography
Dan MacDonald was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. MacDonald kickstarted his acting career in comedies like "Hyper Sapien: People From Another Star" (1986) with Ricky Paull Goldin and Sydney Penny and "Cocktail" (1988) with Tom Cruise and Bryan Brown. He also was featured in the miniseries "The Sound and the Silence" (1992-93). He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Due South" (CBS, 1994-99). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Wind at My Back" (Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC), 1996-2001). He also starred in the TV movies "The Pathfinder" (Showtime, 1996-97) and "When Innocence Is Lost" (Lifetime, 1996-97). In his more recent career, he tackled roles on "Relic Hunter" (1999-2002), "Doc" (ION Television Network, 2000-05) and "Flashpoint" (Bell Media, 2007-2013). He also was featured in the TV movie "Possessed" (Showtime, 2000-01). Most recently, MacDonald appeared in "The Lizzie Borden Chronicles" (2014-15).
