Biography
John Longden was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Longden started off his career in film with roles in "Blackmail" (1929) and the Sara Allgood dramatic adaptation "Juno and the Paycock" (1930). Longden made film his next project, appearing in "The Skin Game" (1931), the drama "Contraband" (1940) with Conrad Veidt and the Vivien Leigh period drama "Anna Karenina" (1948). He also appeared in "The Ship That Died of Shame" (1956) with Richard Attenborough. Later in his career, Longden acted in "Enemy From Space" (1957). Longden was married to Jean Jay. Longden passed away in May 1971 at the age of 71.
