Jerry Livingston brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Livingston worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Bronco" (ABC, 1958-1960). In the fifties and the eighties, Livingston's music mostly appeared in films like the Gary Cooper adaptation "The Hanging Tree" (1959) and the romance "For Those Who Think Young" (1964) with James Darren. Livingston was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for "Cat Ballou" in 1965. He followed this honor with songs in the James Darren romance "For Those Who Think Young" (1964), the Jane Fonda comedic adaptation "Cat Ballou" (1965) and "Radio Days" (1987). Livingston was most recently credited in "Saving Mr. Banks" (2013) with Emma Thompson. Livingston passed away in July 1987 at the age of 78.
