In 1967, he had his final screenwriting credit on the TV series "The High Chaparral." Leicester began his career with a role in the Cornel Wilde action film "Operation Secret" (1952). Leicester also appeared in "Beyond a Reasonable Doubt" (1956) starring Dana Andrews. Later in his career, Leicester wrote the horror flick "The Last Man on Earth" (1964) with Vincent Price. Leicester passed away in January 1969 at the age of 54.
